Thomas Donald Engler Wednesday, 12/21/05 (grandson of Jacob)
I am the son of Irvin Carl Engler and Mary Elizebeth (Birch)Engler. I was born in Dubuque, Iowa in 1944. I have two sister: Connie and Dawn and one brother: Jeffery. I married Kay (Hart) in Dubuque, Iowa at St. Patricks Church in 1968 and we have two children: Stacey Anne (Sharp)Engler and Jacob Thomas Engler. Stacey has two children: Dylan Thomas and Katlyn Mary. I graduated from Loras College (B.A., M.A.)in 1968 and 1971 and Drake University in 1977 and 1983 (Ed.S.,Ed.D.. I spent over 20 years in Iowa schools as a teacher, principal and superintendent. I have been in Yorkville as a superintendent of schools for the past 14 years. My dad, Irvin, is still alive in Dubuque - he will be 88 this Feb. My mother passed in 1992 at age 66.
